Exciting opportunities have arisen for holiday casuals who are interested in working at Australia Zoo! We are looking for Holiday Casual attendants in Food and Beverage, Cleaning, Retail, Admissions, Guest Experience, Shuttles, Warrior Restaurant, Crocodile Hunter Lodge, the Obstacle Course and Car Park Marshall teams.

Successful candidates must be available for shifts between Saturday the 5th of April through to Monday the 21st of April 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email and invited to attend Group Interviews in the lead up to the School Holiday period.
Duties include:
- Food and Beverage: Food preparation in the kitchen, serving customers on the tills, cleaning tables, maintaining cleanliness of area, barista duties, customer service.
- Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of designated areas including bathrooms and outdoor areas, bins and rubbish collection, customer service.
- Car Park Marshall: Assisting with traffic control management within the Zoo car parks,
- Obstacle Course: customer service at the obstacle course.
- Guest Experience/Admissions/Shuttles: Greeting guests, cash handling, point of sale processing, crowd control, assisting with photography and tours, customer services, assisting at concierge.
- Retail: Serving customers, cash handling, point of sale processing, restocking of shelves and stocktake, customer service.
- Education: assisting with our Zoo Keeper for a Day Program.
- Warrior Restaurant: Greeting guests, taking orders, delivery of food and beverage, cleaning of kitchen and facility areas.
- Crocodile Hunter Lodge: Assisting with housekeeping and general duties.
Essential Criteria:
- Full availability for the Easter School Holiday period including weekends and public holidays.
- A friendly and customer focused attitude, ensuring that all guest interactions are both positive and memorable.
- For roles relative to the Food and Beverage Department and the Warrior Restaurant, a Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol is essential.
Preferred Criteria:
- Queensland RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) for Food and Beverage positions
- Drivers Licence
